Pontiac Repair: Grand Am engine switch, automatic tranny, wire harnesses

i have a 94' Grand Am 4 cylinder 5 speed with a blown tranny, and I also have a 95' Grand Am V6 auto with a blown engine.  I am wanting to take the 4 cylinder out of the 94' and put it into the 95' using it's auto tranny.  Will there be any problems using the automatic tranny from the V6 for the 4 cylinder?  Sencondly, will I have to transfer the wiring harness with the 4 cylinder engine, or will i be able to use the one from the V6?

This is an Ambition under taking that will not work. The bolt patern on the transmissions is not the same. so that idea will not work. I would look for another engine for that 95. That V6 is a very abundant engine to find and shouldn't cost all that much do to the fact that there are so many of them around. You will not have to change any of the wire harnesses or computers over. Good luck :}
