hi i have a 1994 transport van and theres no heat when its idling if i press on gas theres heat but not alot its luke warm i put a new water pump last year and a new thermostat last week.. my heat gage goes up to normal but no heat when idling.please help i dont no what to try anymore..ty

a few things. did you get all the air out of the system? If not it have a tendency to get trapped in the heater core. Make sure it's good and full! You could have a restriction in the heater core it's self Take off the hoses at the engine and flush out the core in both directions. That will also get out any trapped air in the core as well. Did you get the correct temp thermostat? That Van is like 195 degrees. Does this van have rear heat? If so does that one get hot? Other than theromostats and the cooling system being low those are the 2 most common causes for heat issues like you mentioned on that van. Good luck :}
