loose steering when accelerating quickly? Note;only 65000 km.
More play in the steering wheel, not as tight when 1st accelerating. Is this normal for a Grand Prix?

Answer
Your car may have an electronicly controled power steering system. It could have the Magnasteer system, which uses elecro-magnets to "stiffen" the steering at highway speeds. Or it could have the EOS (Electronic Oriface Steering) system which uses an electronic valve to reduce power steering fliud flow at higher speeds. It sounds like you might have a problem that will need to be diagnosed by the dealer since most other mechanics dont know anything about these systems. I have had a problem like this on a magnasteer system and it ended up being the power steering rack & pinion.
