RV Repair: Norcold mod n641 Too cold, thermister, diagnostic mode

Hi Bill....My n641 never seems to shut off! This am the refrig read 23 degrees! I suspect the the thermister so I
moved two fins down It is near the middle of the fins. What do you suspect? It dose not matter where the temp
switch is set: "1 to 9"

Joseph, Turn the refer on and press and hold both the mode and temp set buttons at the same time. Release them as soon as the 1 screen displays. In a few seconds 8 will display. then press the mode button for screen 2 to display and once again for screen 3. This is the screen that tells you if it is reading the fin temperature. You shouldn't have to go any farther in diagnostic mode for you to see if it is reading the fins. Let me know what you find and we can go from there. Thanks, Bill
