RV Repair: keystone slideout, keystone, clutch

Question
Is there a way to manually push in a slideout?  I've already shut off the electricity for my site, not thinking I forgot about the slideout.  Any answers will be helpful.

Answer
Chris, In alot of coaches there is a way to get the slide out in and out manually. Keystone uses a couple different drives. If it is hydraulic you might have at the pump a way to manually pump to get it in. If it is a electric drive only you might have to get to the motor and release the clutch and then manually crank it in. You shouldn't need 110 power to move it in but just 12 volt. You might be able to plug the coach into your vehicle and that should give 12 volt power to the coach and then you should be able to get it in. I hope that this helps and if not let me know just what kind of slide drive you have and I will help more. Thanks, Bill
