RV Repair: Water leakes on 22Ft Coachman, sail boats, coachman

Question
I use to make fiberglass sail boats so I know the ins and outs of glassing .My question is can i just fiber glass the entire front end of my plastic front(at the seams) I cant seem to get the leaks stopped up there I hate using putty tape as it starts drying almost the same day will the Mat and cloth stick to the plastic the camper seems to be made with. This is A very bad way(metal channel and putty tape) to seal leaks on this coachman its not if it will leak its when will it leak...

Answer
As long as you can get the glass to stick you can do it any way you want, but it might be better for you if you use something called Liquid Roof, made by Pro Guard. It is quite a bit more costly than the other products that are available but if you prep your surface really good and make sure to use vinegar at the last cleaning part so as to etch the material you have on already I believe that you will be very happy with the results. I have been applying this product for over 14 years and I have not had even one complaint from anyone I have used this on. It is E.P.D.M. rubber and is purer than the rolled rubber that they install new.
