RV Repair: Ceiling repairs, rv info, rv repair

Question
Hi there, we have an older (1978) Travelaire that has been in very good condition until the last year or so. We had a roof leak above the bathroom which has been fixed. We are now in the process of replacing the ceiling as the insulation and ceiling material were soaked from the leak. After I take out the ceiling and insulation and let the water dry up, can I put a vapor barrier up before I replace the ceiling? Do you know if there are any books out there on RV repair? Thanks in advance,
Jennifer

Answer
You can put a vapor barrier but it really is not needed in this case and you may cause some unwanted condensation. There are a lot of books out there but I would suggest getting books that cover different areas of RV repair. Start looking here http://rv-info.net/
