RV Repair: RV Door, happy camping, screws

Question
I have an older RV, and need to remove the door so I can get a new refrigerator inside.  Actually, I have to remove the door and the door trim.  Are there any issues I need to be aware of before I start?

Answer
Emmett,
I assume you have checked to make sure you don't have a window large enough that the refrigerator will fit through.  There really isn't any trick to removing the door.  The trim that covers the screws may need to be replaced.  As it ages it usually becomes quite brittle and will break apart as you remove it.  You will need to have putty tape to reapply around the perimeter of the door to seal it when you reinstall it, other than that it's just a matter of removing the screws that secure it to the RV.  Good luck and happy camping.
