RV Repair: rv repairs, coleman camper, rv repairs

Question
We have a 96 pop-up coleman camper. During the winter squirrels got in and tore the vinyl at different area.  When we raised the popup we found wholes in the vinyl. How can this be repaired. Any information and details is greatly appreciated as a dealer has advised us to replace the whole top

Answer
Debbie,

You can try to patch or have patched the holes in the vinyl.  Any RV parts store should have or be able to order vinyl patch kits, or you can look in your local yellow pages under vinyl repair to find someone that does that type of repair.  Unfortunately, I must agree with the dealer you spoke with that the best repair would be to replace the entire tent.  I know that's probably not what you wanted to hear.  Good luck and happy camping.
