ho do i adjust valves on a Honda snow blower hs35

Answer
You have to measure the clearance to ensure they need adjusting first.  If they need adjusting you remove the cylinder head, then use a valve spring compressor to compress the spring to loosen the valve retainer, and pull the valve out of the engine.  Once the valve is out you grind the valve stem to the clearance specified for the engine.  Reverse order to reassemble but you need to replace the head gasket and torque the head bolts.
