Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda GCV 160 AS3A carbuetor choke, honda lawnmower, honda gcv 160

Question
Eric,

I pulled the carbuetor off my Honda lawnmower and cleaned it up due to starting problems. When I put it back on I noticed the choke apparently wasnt working properly. This mower has a pull arm choke in that you slide it back towards the rear of the mower and when you engage the throttle and pull the rope the choke then automatically disengages. The butterfly valve (I call it that and it may not be the correct wording) does not shut when you engage the choke. I assume I didnt attach the linkage correctly but I did this very carefully and think I did. Any thoughts? Thanks for your time

John

Have you checked You Tube for videos?

Is the carb in the video link below the same as your carb?
