Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Snapper Rider - Shuts Down When Blade Engaged, snapper rider, briggs stratton

Question
I have a Snapper SR140, 33-inch hi-vac, 12.5hp Briggs & Stratton, rear-engine, I/C Quiet Rider. Model #286707, Type 0136 01, Code 92011531.  The mower starts just fine, but when it's put into gear with the blade engaged, it shuts down.  If I disengage the blade quick enough, it will continue to run.  I first noticed this about 3 mowings ago.  Then, the problem occurred about 3-5 times.  Two mowings ago, it happend about 10-12 times.  The last time I tried to mow, it wouldn't run at all with the blade engaged.  I'm thinking it's the seat/safety switch?  Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Have you checked the Deck Interlock switch and the interlock module?

I nned the mower model number, located on a Snapper sticker about he size of a business card, to look up the interlock module for you model.  The model number will be similar 3011511BE.

Let me know about the deck interlock switch and the mower model number.
