Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): engine won start, model cv, float valve

I have a sears ridding lawn tractor with a Kohler Model CV 15S it has been setting up all Winter . It won't start it's getting spark, but acts like it is flooding, gas is coming out of the exhaust as well as the carburator. ASnd some times has shot a flame out of the exhaust can you please help?

The carburetor needs rebuilt as the float valve shut off is letting fuel flow with out shutting off.You can buy a rebuild kit for this at our web site at www.gbelect.net I need to know what the spec or code numbers after the engine model #'s before you go to the web site it should look something like this CV15S-#####
