Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): putting a briggs an stratton 12.5 on a john deere 111, briggs and stratton, gravity fed

hi i have a '80's john Deere 111 that had a techsuh 10hp on it with a fuel pump. i took the engine off today and want t know if the 12.5 Briggs will be capable of using the fuel pump being the john Deere is pump fed and the 15.5 hp motor was gravity fed will it be compatible? thanks

I am really confused here.  I think you have a typo.

If your asking can you use the fuel pump from the Tecumseh on the Briggs, the answer is yes.  Make sure you have a place to connect the vacum hose onto on the briggs and stratton however.

I got thrown by the 15.5 hp engine being gravity fed    HTH
