Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): exmark charging problem kohler motor, exmark dealer, motor model

John the information on the kohler motor model #CH25S serial#3102201631 and spec#68606. I also checked the fuses and grounds today, I mowed yesterday and it ran well until I turned it off to clean it and it would not restart without a jump, I also put a regulator on it last week after talking with my local exmark dealer. I charged the battery up today and put her back into the shed. Thank you for your help.

You need to unplug the regulator and read the voltage on the two wires coming from under the flywheel, your meter should be set on a.c. volts, and it should read at least 28 volts a.c. with the
engine running at full r.p.m.s, if it isn't, your alternator is
bad, or the flywheel has lost some magnets.

Check that and let me know
