Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Briggs and stratton 24hp 2 cyl engine, briggs and stratton, negative cable

Sir, my engine will not start, I replaced the battery and all it does is fast clicking on the solenoid. The Solenoid is a Trombetta 862-221-211-12. I am thinking it is the solenoid, but I am not sure and I definitely do not want to waste money. Thank you for your time.

Normally, when I hear a fast click at the solenoid, it is due to a poor connection.  Double check all of the connections at the battery,
solenoid, and starter for corrosion, looseness, etc.
Especially look at where the negative cable bolts to the frame, and where the solenoid grounds to the frame as well.
Take a look at those areas and let me know.
