Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Attaching Carb Linkage for B&S lawn mower, throttle shaft, sectional index

Question
I just read someone else's problem similar to mine...I forgot where the linkage attaches back onto the carburator just before bolting the carb back into place on my lawn mower.
Model # 111702
Type # 0166  01
Code # 8901  1608

I do not see any hole or any worn area to reattach it to.  I hope you can help me to do so.  I remember needing to turn the carb slightly to the left in order to remove the linkage, but I can't remember where it attached.

Thank you for your expertise!

Answer
Hello Jeanne:

>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Engine at this Site Addy, http://www.smallenginepartswarehouse.com/parts.asp and Select the Shop Online Parts Look Up. Then Select the Model Tab. Then Select the OEM and Enter the Model (5 or 6 Digits) and Type Numbers (first 4 digits Only). Example: 111702-0166-01. Then Double Click on the Model in the Results Area. Select Sectional Index. Now you can Select the Section of the Engine you Wish to View.
>>Select the "Carburetor Assy, Air Filter" File.
>>If you Notice #131 in the Breakdown has a Small Hole in One End of the Throttle Shaft Lever Plate.
>>The Linkage Usually Hooks into this by Hooking the Governor Linkage (solid rod from Governor Arm to the Throttle Shaft Lever Plate) up with a Slight Turn of the Carburetor when Attaching the Carburetor to the Engine.
>>That is the Turning Motion you Did to Remove the Carburetor from the Engine. You were Releasing the Governor Linkage from the Carburetor.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
