Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): honda snowblower, honda snowblower, arinet

Question
john- i have a honda snowblower hs70.  the auger doesn't turn because the roller tension doesn't squeeze the belt tight enough.  i've adjusted the roller as close to the belt as possible but it still doesn't put enough pressure on the belt to turn the auger. i've also adjusted the cable to its max.  is there any other adjustment i'm missing?  thanks.  -steve

Answer
Hello Steve:

>>Replace the Drive Belt.
>>If the Cable is Moving the Idler Arm the Correct Pull, then the Belt has Stretched and Requires Replacing.
>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower/Engine at this Site Addy, http://hayward.arinet.com/scripts/EmpartISAPI.dll?MF&app=ASP&lang=EN&TF=Mainfram... and Select the Catalog American Honda.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.
