Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Troy-Bilt pressure washer, troy bilt pressure washer, mind fuel

Question
I have a Troy-bilt pressure washer with a B&S 7.2hp motor, it will start fine, but it doesnt seem to get to a point where I can back the choke off, if I move it from the full choke setting the motor will quit. Not much experience with small engines so any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Answer
Remove the nut from the bottom of the carb bowl, and see what dribbles out.  Leave the bowl in place if possible, because if it comes off you will likely need a new gasket.  Look at the nut, if you
see any tiny holes in the top and side, clean them out, replace, put fresh fuel in, and see if this helps.  Many times this will work, and a full carb removal and teardown is not needed.
Keep in mind fuel will be dribbling out, so be careful.

For more specific details, I will need the model numbers off of the engine, this was just a generalized response.

Hope this helps,
