QUESTION: how do you check/change belt

ANSWER: I am afraid I need more information.  What is a panther?  Is it a lawn tractor? mini bike? Walk behind mower etc?  Please send me more info or even a digital picture to help you

AHHHH yes.... taking me back a few years...I remember the Panther....how could one forget the leopard print on the seat.  Personally I was always a fan of the El Tigre... anyway... although I am NOT an expert on sleds, I do know someone who is and has been working on these machines since the 1970's!  

Contact the good folks at http://hallsofmedford.com/ and they will be able to help you.  They will most likely have the parts you need to-however I think you can replace the clutch as a whole, but it may be more costly then the sled itself is worth!
