Question I bought a second-hand but little used Lifan portable generator sold under the American Camper brand. The plastic on-off switch is broken but I plan to replace it with a heavy-duty toggle switch. That isn't my question although if you have any advice, I would glad to hear it.
However, my question is: where would I find an owner's or other manuals for it, perhaps on-line?
The generator is a 3000-watt powered by a Lifan 6.5 HP, engine model 168F-2; engine family 8CLGS 19668. Thank you.

Lifan... Good Stuff...just had a phone conversation with them earlier today.... Please tell me if there is another number on the genset such as 3-FG, etc... Is it an older style or the newer style that has an inverter..
The engine I know like the back of my hand as Have done hundreds of hours of testing on this engine. If you cant find the Lifan Model number perhaps you can upload an image for me so i can help you identify it. I talk to the folks at Lifan almost daily.
I should be able to track down an owners manual for you once i get the proper gen set info from you.
As far as advice...Chinese are great at selling product, some of it is very good, but they don't understand the after sale support that we Americans are so used to, ie Parts manuals, owners manuals etc...
