QUESTION: Well, I'm not really sure. I don't know what it is supposed to look like and can't seem to find any info on the internet. If you know of any websites that would be helpful please let me know.

Answer
Unfortunately Honda has not published the parts list on the internet.  Is there a local Honda dealer in your area?  There should be rubber all around the friction disc.  If there is a dealer near by you could call to see if they have the part and go look at a new disc.

The loud bang doesn't sound good.  Is there a plug on the aguer gearbox to check the oil?
