QuestionQUESTION: In order for the auger to turn you have to hold the auger clutch and spin the auger by hand, then there is a loud bang then it will work on its own. What do you think is causing this? There doesn't appear to be any rubber on the friction disc.

ANSWER: You mentioned there isn't any rubber on the friction disc. Does the disc need to be replaced?

AnswerUnfortunately Honda has not published the parts list on the internet. Is there a local Honda dealer in your area? There should be rubber all around the friction disc. If there is a dealer near by you could call to see if they have the part and go look at a new disc.
The loud bang doesn't sound good. Is there a plug on the aguer gearbox to check the oil?
