QUESTION: Why does the main impeller bearing on my 10.5 Sears snowblower keep failing every year?  10.5HP Model

ANSWER: What model do you have?  You will find the model number on a sticker on the lower portion of the machine.  The sticker is about the size of a business card and the model number format will be xxx.xxxxxxxx.

QUESTION: Model: C950524312A  Thanks for your help.  I've been thinking of modifying it myself and bolting a big flange bearing on there, thoughts?

Answer
Are the bolts for the ball bearing retainer plate vibrating loose and causing the bearing to come out?  If, apply some Loc-tite to the bolts...this will keep the bolts from vibrating loose.

Let me know if the the bearing retainer plate is coming off causing the bearing to fall out.
