Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): tecumsuh 4.5 hp snowblower motor, proper manuals, spec numbers

Question
When I release the blower and the blower isn't under load, the engine/throttle increases. Is there a throttle adjustment on these motors. It runs fine when under a load or throwing snow.

From your Description it Sounds like Throtle Control Spring May be Missing, the Governor May Require Setting or the Throttle Control Valve is Not Operating Correctly. Send me the Model and Type or Spec Numbers Off the Engine or the Model Numbers Off the Snow Blower/Thrower, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manuals and Better Assist you. Thanks.
