Question
Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman Engine Info, driven generator, engine id
ID Tag
Hi, I followed the instructions on a similar question about engine ID and it didn't work. I have an engine that is ID as a Craftmsan Lubrication, Model 143.569032, SN 6061, and then off to the side 12043. It has what appears to have a belt driven generator/starter. I tried to see if it would cran off the gen unit but no luck. It doesn't have a pull start nor does the pully install appear to have mounting capabilities for a rope starter. Any help would be appreciated. I do have several pictures of unit available if that will help. Thanks

Answer
The model number 143.569032 is a Sears number.  They did not use the manufacturers model number for the engine.  Engine manufacturers would do special things for Sears too.  Go to www.searspartsdirect.com on the right hand side of the page you can enter the model number into their search engine.  If they have any information on it it will be there.  If no luck there you may have to have a outdoor power equipment dealer take a look at it.  Best of luck.
