Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Serviced Echo SRM 2100 and now Wont Start, correct ports, fuel inlet

Question
Just serviced my Echo SRM 2100 by replacing broken primer bulb, new air filter and fuel filter and spark plug ( all Echo parts)

Would start before service even with broken bulb ; however, won't start now.  Even tried small amount ether and still wouldn't start.

I notice some drops of oil / fuel coming form exhaust area now and I didn't see this before.

Is it possible something stuck open when I changed the primer bulb ?

Answer
You could have pinched the diaphragm under the primer bulb mounting block, or repositioned it. Or maybe from repairing it tipped it too far to one side and all the fuel flooded the cylinder. I would doubt you did anything to the needle valve, unless some dirt or grease broke loose and moved into the carb. Sure you have the two lines on the correct ports? You may have crossed the fuel inlet line, and primer lines. My guess is it just was tilted and the fuel rushed into the cylinder, need to remove the plug and pull it a dozen times to clear the cylinder and try again.   Have you checked for spark? If you somehow lost your spark these conditions would exist too, it would be over flooded....Tom
