Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 1975 Cub Cadet 108, starter generator, cub cadet

Question
When I try to start it all it does is click. The battery is fully charged. If I turn the starter/generator a little it will turn over and then start.  Any ideas on the problem? Thanks Don

Answer
Hello Don:

From your Description it Sounds like the Starter/Generator Requires New Brushes and Bushing/s/Bearing/s. If you are Having to Give the Starter Generator a Slight Turn with the Ign Switch Held in the Start Position to get the Starter/Generator to Turn, then Usually a Bushing/Bearing is Worn Causing a Slight Bind in the Starter/Generator. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Unit at this Site Addy; http://www.emerichsales.com/ and Select the Cub Cadet from the Parts Look Up Menu at the Left of the Page. Now Select the Type of Unit from the Menu. Now Select the Model of the Unit. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
