Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): piston installation poulan leaf blower, ring groove, question pool

Is there a front and back to these pistons? All I find is a small piece of metal in ring groove where ends of ring meet.Does it matter which way rod and piston go when installing in the cylinder ( jug ) ?

Sorry for the Delay. This Question was Located in the Question Pool. There should be a Mark (in a Pyramid shape) or and Arrow on the Face of the Piston. This Mark is Supposed to Point towards the Exhaust. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps.
