Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Murray 20 Selfpropelled 6.0hp Quantum, quantum model, spec numbers

Model #20715X92A, I havent been able to find an owners manual.  It is starting and stays running but it hesitates while you mow.  It goes Bbbbrrrrnn------bbbbbrrrrnnn------bbbbrrrrnnnn the whole time.  I don't want to run it in case it makes it worse. Yes i am a woman and dont have a glue but would like to fix it myself.  The sparkplug is good i am going to change the air filter, would it be anything else.

You can View a Breakdown of this Mower At this Site Addy; http://www.smallenginepartswarehouse.com/parts.asp and Select Shop Online Parts Lookup. Select the Model Tab. Select the OEM and Enter the Model Numbers. Now Double Click on your Model in the Results Area. Now Select Sectional View. Now Select the Section of the Mower you Wish to View. This is a 1999 Year Model Mower. Being a Woman Does Not have Anything to Do with Repairing Engines or Other Equipment. As my Wife and Daughter Say, Gender is No Excuse. LOL. With my Assistance or the Assistance of the Other Experts here, I am Sure you can Make the Repair with Little to No Worries. I Think you are Saying the Engine is Hunting (Revving up and Down). If this is the Case, then Send me the Model and Type or Spec Numbers Off the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. The Murray Breakdown does not Show the Engine OEM, Model, Type or Spec Numbers that this Mower Uses. The Carburetor Requires Soaking and Cleaning. This is a Repair that you can Perform if you have the Breakdown to Show you the Parts and How the Carburetor is Assembled. Thanks.
