Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Snapper SR95, clutch cable, mower blade

Question
QUESTION: I have to replace the belt that drives the mower blade.  I can't install the new belt (a double "v") and its the correct one but it's too tight.

Can you tell me how to adjust the mower deck so I can install the new belt?  I know that there must be an adjustment somewhere but I just can't figure out where.  Thank you.

ANSWER: Hello Mike:

The Proper Directions for Setting the Deck Depend on the Model. The SR95 is the Series Model. I Require the Mower Model Numbers to Assist you Better. Thanks.

QUESTION: Thank you for getting back to me.

The SR95's model # is 300812BE

It is a 30-inch cut 8 HO Easy Rider

I hope this helps in answering my question and again thank you very much.

Answer
Hello Again Mike:

Thanks for the Model Numbers. These Help Greatly. You can View a Breakdown of the Mower at this Site Addy; http://www.snapper.com/manuals/ Select your Model from the List in the Model/Part Numbers Section. Select Parts Manual from the Manual Type Section and Click Find Manuals. Now Download the Manual for your Unit from the  List Provided. The Online Manual Number is 06088. If you have the Proper Belt Number 2-2252 which is a 73 1/4" X 1/2" Belt and you have it Routed Properly, then on this Model the Adjuster is the Center Tube that Connects the Front of the Mower to the Rear of the Mower. You should See a Clamp that when Loosened Allows the Front and Rear Sections to be Moved Closer or Farther Apart. Watch the Brake/Clutch Cable, you May have to Move the Adjusting Tabs on the Cable at the Pedal to Get the Proper Clutch/Brake Cable Length. Anytime the Center Tube is Moved to Tighten the Belt, Cable Adjustments Must be Made. You can See the Cables on Page 4 of 30 in the Online Manual. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
