Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): murray lawn mower blade will not turn, lawn mower blade, murray riding lawn mower

Hi, my 82 year old dad has an 11 horsepower, 38" cut, Murray riding lawn mower.  At the end of last season he had problems when the mower blade stopped turning.  He has worked on it over winter and replaced two belts, one of which he thought would turn the blade.  That was not the problem as the blade still will not turn.  He lives on a fixed income, so if you have any ideas I can give him to help find the problem, I would be so very grateful.

Send me the Model Numbers Off the Mower, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. They are Usually Located Under the Seat on the Body. Has Anyone Checked the Blade Nut or the Pulley Nut? If Either of these Nuts Loosen, then the Belt will Turn, but the Blade will Not Turn. If this Mower has the Electric PTO, then the PTO Ground May Require Cleaning or the Connector at the PTO May be Bad.
