Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Onan Twin 18 HP Mower, model bg, fire problem

I have just acquired a Sears 18 HP V twin with an Onan motor and I can get it to turn over, but it will not crank.  The plugs don't seem to get any fire.  Are there points to check or can I check the Coil? Can you tell me what I might need to do?  The machine belonged to an older gentleman and he passed away.  It was running at the time.  Model # BG - MS / 3272 A

Send me the Model Numbers Off the Unit, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. It is Possible a Safety Switch is Causing the No Fire Problem. Thanks.
