Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Husqvarna GTH2250 not moving, husqvarna logo, drive lever

Question
I have the above mower with the B&S #407777 22 hp engine.  I have been removing a lot of snow with the blade attachment, at times getting stuck.  I would quicklly move the transmission lever from forward to reverse repeatedly to get the mower moving.  Now the mower fails to move at all.  It starts fine but putting the drive lever in forward or reverse does nothing.  The pulleys do not spin at all.  The belt seems loose.  Do you have any idea's?

Thanks,
Brad

Answer
Hello Keeters:

You can View the Husqvarna Model List at this Site Addy, http://www.partstree.com/parts/ and Click on the Husqvarna Logo. Now Enter the Model Numbers (GTH 2250) in the Search Box on the Left and Click Go. Now Select the Section of the Equipment you Wish to View. Select the Ground Drive File. Using the Breakdown, Check All the Pulleys and Idlers and Make Sure they are Turning Freely and are Not Binding or Making Grinding Noises. Make Sure the Belt is Not Worn or Stretched. Check the Clutch Idler Spring and be Sure it has Tension to Pull the Belt Tight when the Clutch Pedal is Released. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
