Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): white/blue smoke at startup, kohler command, kohler engines

Question
I have a Kohler Command Pro CV23 engine that smokes on startup only after sitting a few days (450 hours on the engine - purchased new in 2002).  When mowing, it's fine.  I asked my Simplicity dealer about this and his reply is that it's normal for Kohler engines to do that on startup.  Any truth to that ? Also, I plan to sell my Simplicity - any suggestion on the best websites to publish?  Thanks !

Some Kohlers Do have a Tendency to Smoke a Small Amount During Start Up. It Does Not Harm the Engine and There is Nothing Wrong with the Engine if the Start Up Smoke is your Problem. I have been Told that Craigs List and E-Bay  are the Best. Craigs List is a Listing Similar to a Sale Catalog and Everyone Knows how E-Bay Operates.
