QUESTION: I have acraftsman 15.5 kohler tractor that has two relays and it will not charge battery unless i unplug one relay, and why does it have two relays that are wired together and what do they do and can i run it without one relay without any damage to mower? model no.cb15s serialno.2722412744, familyno. skh426u1g2rb

Send me the Model Numbers Off the Mower, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. The Model Numbers are Usually Under the Seat. They Are Similar to 532.XXXXXX, 917.XXXXXX, ect. However, it will Not Damage the Engine to Operate the Engine with the Relay is Unplugged. Money is the Only Reason I can See for Most of the Replays on the Mowers. Thanks.

No Worries, these are the Correct Model Numbers. The Relays are Used for The Charging Circuit and the Starting Circuit. Both Relays are the Same and can be Interchanged if Required. However, then the Mower will Have Problems Starting. The Part Number is 109748X and Sears Offers it for $15.99 Dollars US. Go to this Site Addy, http://www3.sears.com/ and Enter the Model Numbers in the Upper Left Search Box and Click Go. Then Visually Verify the Equipment and Click Continue.
