Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): briggs and stratton, briggs and stratton, armature coil

Question
what is th set gap for armature magneto and the alternator, on an 6.0 briggs and stratton

Answer
Hello Nick:

Send me the Model and Type or Spec Numbers Off the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. The Alternator/Stator is Under the Flywheel and has No Gap Setting. The Magneto/Armature/Coil is Set to .015in - .020in from the Flywheel. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Good Luck
