Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): ignition, conventional style, coil wire

How or what is the procedure for installing elctronic ignition on an old B/S that has the old conventional style points?

Hello Timmy:

What Type of Ignition Module are you Installing? Is it the Coil with the Module Inside it or the Add on Module? If the Add On Module, then Remove the 2 Wires from the Point Set and Connect them to the Positive Side of the Module. The Other Side of the Module is Marked - and Should be Grounded. Be Sure the Housong of the Add On Module is Grounded Also. The 2 Wires that are Connected to the Positive Side of the Module are a Shut Off Wire and the Small Coil Wire. Hope this Helps.
