Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Scag blade engage, kawasaki engine, safety switch

I just bougth a used 36in Scag with a kawasaki engine. It works great except the fact that the blades continuously disengage, usually when I turn the machine.  They engage fine and sometimes stay on for a few minutes.  The guy I bought it from said he just installed a new blade engage switch after accidently breaking the other one.  Says the blades stayed engaged just fine.  Any ide whats going on?

Is this a commercial walkbehind mower? If it is, it sounds like you have a touchy safety switch on one hand grip or the other.  Try to pay attention to when it dies. When you turn most people let go of one handle and wait for the mower to come back around to them. The handle you are holding down is to sensitive.
