Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Hydrostatic Problems, proper manuals, control lever

Question
I have a Craftsman 18 hp LT 1000, model # (pick one, not sure which is model) 31H7770202E1 (Top #) or 030222ZE01453.  I noticed last year that the mower would not move after I pulled the neutral lever. The wheels were still not free.  The tranny still worked fine at that time.  Then at the end of the mowing season, I noticed the tranny a little sluggish at first start-up.  I cranked the mower today and it will not move forward or reverse.  I can hear the engine under pull down as if it's trying to move, but nothing. I can engage and lock the brake, move the control lever forward or reverse with no resistance.  Side note:  I started having starting problems at the same time my tranny started acting up, any suggestions?  Thanks for the time and assistance.

Answer
 Hello Terry:

If the Linkage to the Transaxle is Good, then the Problem May be Internal. Send me the Model Numbers Off the OEM Plate on the Transaxle or the Sears Model Numbers, Please. The Sears Numbers will Look something like 532.xxxxxx. With these Numbers I can Locate the Proper Manuals and Better Assist you. Thanks.

 Respectfully

 John
