Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): McCulloch, EagerBeaver, I-SX, merry christmas and happy new year, storage time

Question
I have a quick question regarding my weed eater, after some storage time, both my gas lines have crumpled, hence replacing lines. My question is there are two gas lines going to the carburetor, I assume one goes all the way down to the gas tank, however, I'm not sure if I should also run the other one too (that is down to the gas level) or should it just be above the gas tank? I would appreciate your advise.

 Hello Ed:

 If the Tank has the Ports for Both Lines then the Supply Line Goes to the Filter and the Other Goes in the Tank about 1 to 1 1/2". If the Tank has 1 Port, then the Non Supply Line goes to Just Above the Tank. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks. Be Safe.
