QuestionI own a Locke Mower

with a B & S Model # 233452 / 9 HP
type: 0327-0
Code: 7803301
I mowed my lawn with this machine a few weeks ago and when I went to start it the other day nothing happened, went thru the fuel system but there doesn't seem to be any problem there so I bought a spark tester and tried it yesterday and low and behold, NO SPARK!!!
I would like to know what I need to do from here , would be glad to send pics of engine if needed. Thanks in Advance, Dave

Hello Dave:
Disconnect the Shutoff Wire from the Coil. Do you have Fire Now? If Yes, then a Safety Switch is your Problem. If No, then The Coil/Ignition Module/Igniter is Bad. Send me the Model, Type and Code Numbers Off of the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate a Breakdown/IPL and Better Assist you. Hope theis Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Thanks.

You can View a Breakdown of the Engine at this Addy http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ and Click the B. Then Select Briggs and Stratton. Then Select Dont have Part Numbers. Then Scroll Down to the File # 23. Then Scroll Down to the Folder # 233400 and Click. This will Download a Breakdown/IPL if this Engine. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance.
