Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): My problem is now solved, mechanical problems, trial and error

Thanks for your help...after two days of checking and rechecking...I had the darn thing installed incorrectly.  Also one of my springs was disconnected.  Everything OK now...I guess we learn by trial and error.
