Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda GC160, honda gc160, shear pin

Question
I have a power washer with a Honda GC160 5 hp engine.  I am having difficulty starting it.  It sometimes kicks back violently.  However I have started it and it seems to run ok.  But I experience the kick back and great difficulty in starting it.  Is there a timing adjustment on it? I removed the bolt from the flywheel and the shear pin seems to be intact, any ideas?

Answer
 Hello James:

Did you remove the Flywheel Completely and look at the Key? In order to really inspect the Flywheel Key the Flywheel must be Removed. The Key is the Only timing for the Motor. Hope this Helps.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
