Hello, I was doing my annual cleaning of my push mower, and removed the carb, replaced the needle valve and seat ect. when I went to put it all back together, I wasn't able,(forgot) how to but the governor arm back together on the mount on the block. I got all the connections, (spring, wire arm,ect.) but wasn't able to remember how to reattach the arm to the mount with the screw to make it work properly. I have been looking for a mannual on line, without any luck,(I'm not really a computor wiz). If you could help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance,

 Hello Jack:

 You are needing to reset the Governor. Take a screw Driver and Turn the Governor Shaft one direction and the Other. Find the Spring loaded direction. Holding the Butterfly Linkage open full with the Governor shaft turned to the spring loaded direction and lock down. This may be backwards. If so reverse the Direction of the Governor Shaft.  Hope this Helps.
