Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): yard machine steering shaft, riding mowers, steering wheel

Question
We have a yard machine riding lawn mower.  The model # is 13AM663F352 and
the serial # is 1E152B80304.  The steering shaft needs to be replaced because
the teeth on the gear at the bottom are so worn down that we can't steer
anymore.  My question is how do you get the old one off so you can put the new
one on?

Answer
 Hello Andrea:

There are 2 Styles of Steering Assemblies on Riding Mowers. 1- Remove the Steering Wheel. 2- Remove the Cutter Deck. 3- Remove Clip from the Lower Section of the Steering Shaft. Shaft should be ready for Removal. This is the Most Common. These Instructions may even help with Removal of the Second Style also.  Hope this Helps.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
