Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Toro 724 will not start, electric starter, spark plug

Question
I have a Toro 724 snowblower (model #38072, Serial btwn 5900001 and 5999999) that I cannot get to start.  I have replaced the spark plug, and cleaned the carburetor (although not sure if I cleaned it entirely properly).  It has an electric starter which works, but no matter how I choke it or how little or much I prime it the engine will not start.  It also seems impossible to flood, as the area under the spark plug never gets dampened with fuel.

Answer
Most likely the carb is the problem; this is the most common problem on snowblowers.

Try starting the engine by spraying some starting fluid directly into the carb.  If the engine trys to start then you know the carb is not working.

Let me know what happens.
