Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 1981 Craftsman LT 1036, briggs and stratton, throttle linkage

I replaced the engine in my lawn tractor, which is a briggs and Stratton 10 hp motor, and in doing so removed the throttle linkage and govenor on it and did not draw a diagram of where the linkage goes back together, do you know where I might be able to get a detailed diagram of the linkage system for this tractor, my owners manual is not very detailed in this area.

Hi RJ,

Sorry, I don't know where you could get that info.  Sometimes, if you look closely at the throttle linkage plate, you can see which holes have wear marks on them, showing where the rods were attached.  That, combined with some trial and error may do it.
