hi there
recentlty i bought a used (5 years old)mtd snowblower it is 12hp 33 inch it came with no manual. I would like to change the auger belt on it - how do i do this? Where can i find detailed info or pitchers on this subject..

Hi Jeff,

You may need to remove a cover to access the belt area.  Then release the engagement lever, to take the tension off the belt.  There may be a spring loaded idler pulley instead, which you can hold back as you remove the belt.

Only a repair manual would have detailed instructions or pictures and I don't know where you could obtain one.
