Steering Column Repair: 04 Dodge Dakota tilt steering, tilt steering, dodge dakota

I have a 04 Dodge Dakota and the tilt steering is stuck in one position.  It will not tilt up or down. Do you have an exploded view of how to fix this problem?  Or a step by step instructions?  Appreciate the help.

04 dakota column Hi David:

To the best of my knowledge, this aspect of the column is not serviceable.  Mopar does not sell any parts separately.  If you can't figure it out by exploring, you will be best served replacing the column with a used on.  Just make sure you transfer all the electronics and lock over as you need your original key and transponder to start this truck if you have an antitheft system.
