Subaru Repair: weatherstripping, window insulation, insulation foam

Question
My '03 forester has some pretty loud weatherstipping 'leaks' at the front windows, mostly the passenger side, and generally at the front bottom corner areas of both.  Bear in mind the passenger side weatherstrip and window were replaced [by Subaru] after a break in when car was just 3 months old.  Once there is a leak [i didn't know about treating weatherstripping before reading here] can anything be done?  I tried 'reinforcing' the stripping with some thin window insulation foam, you can assume that didn't do much.  When doing 55+mph, it gets pretty noisy [adding to the already significant road noise in Forester]. car has almost 100K, gets driven alot

Answer
There is an updated door gusset for Outbacks and legacy i think there is one for Impreza and Forester as well  but im not 100% on that .This is the piece at the front corner, that the mirror is bolted to.But any ways i have seen many times where the gusset gets tweaked, expecially in a break in and doesnt allow the window to properly seal up against it.Any ways look at the gusset and see if maybe there arent some stress marks in the plastic. Then look at how well the window is sealing up against it.Hope that helps
